It’s time to think Back to School and I can’t believe I have 7th and 4th graders! Looking at these pictures versus last year, I just think oh my goodness, my kids are getting so big!! If you are new here, we moved to Colorado about 1.5 years ago and my kids attend a school that is Pre-K through 8th grade. While they are at the same school the middle schoolers are pretty separated to still give them that middle school feel.
In the past year, we have definitely felt the trends start to hit hard with Lululemon, Nike, and Under Armour. While my kids wear a variety of brands when it comes to their “top” wishes, it’s been what’s trending, so I get a few of those outfits for the first days.
Since I’m buying for some very different ages I figured I would share a bunch of my favorites we have found along the way.

My daughter still is loving the more casual athletic outfits but this year has been also throwing in more items from Lululemon since they fit her slender frame as well as more dressy items from Abercrombie Kids. The past few months I’ve seen the pleated skort trend blow up and while she loves this version there are a bunch of lower price options as well from Amazon and Old Navy.

Now it’s not just clothing that we stock up on for back to school but a TON of other items to get ready for those first few days. Here are a few more essentials we are loving.
Now for my little man I just ask that his t-shirts and pants are hole and stain free, so as you can guess we had to replace some! He looks great in this set from Under Armour but he also wears a lot of Primary joggers, Abercrombie Kids and Vineyard Vines when he needs to dress up!
I’ve also recently found a few more easy off style of sneakers that he is loving… no laces here!

Both kids got hooked up with new backpacks this year. Little man needed something a bit more “grown-up” and less dirty, ugh, boys! And my daughter needed a new bag that she could pack for dance (her daily backpack is the New Crew Lululemon style). Both, of course, love their Stanley water bottles.

Now it was just yesterday that I had LITTLE ones and had to round up a few of those items we have loved through the years for early elementary as well.
Although I will be sad not to have my babies around all day once school starts, I know that they will have an incredible year!
