Over the past few years, it’s felt hard to keep up with what jeans styles are “in.” What I’ve learned, though, is that I’m most concerned with what fits my body rather than the trend of the moment. I mean, have you seen the “barrel jeans” trend? Yuck!
I carry most of my weight in my butt and thighs while having an H-shaped rear (explained in this post), making styles that cinch at the waist VERY uncomfortable.
This season, I’ve tried to hunt down jeans at various price points, perfect for fall styling! If you want to see more of my favorites as the season progresses, I’ll save them HERE.
For reference I’m 5’5, size 12, 38DD. I list the sizes I’m wearing below each image and give my fit tips based on my previous experience with the brand and on the size guides provided.

These Amazon jeans were such a surprise hit since they have some stretch and are a lightweight denim. These come in a ton of washes and a 32″ inseam or 28″ inseam. For the wider leg style, I like to wear with heels so I opted for the 32″ inseam. These are available in XS- XXL 28″ & 32″ inseams (stay away from the white though they are sheer!)
