The 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale PREVIEW is here and I love this process where we can all see whatβs going to be included and can start adding to our wish lists! Each year I make outfit ideas so you can start looking through your own closet and see what items you might want to refresh for the new season. I also have my top picks for men, beauty, kids and home since I shop for everyone during this sale!
Once I am able to shop the sale I will do a new post with IRL (in real life) photos of the items I purchase with sizing tips and thoughts (see last yearβs post here). *THIS IS IMPORTANT* when you build your wish list donβt get too attached, things can and will sell out BUT I always try and find similar items that could be interchanged with these outfit ideas so you still get a similar look even if my item pick is no longer available.
The next biggest item to discuss is HOW to get as many of your items on your sale shopping day and that is through the βwish listβ process. I talk about that and more tips and tricks in THIS post.
WORKWEAR
This is one of the BEST times to grab some workwear staples. I’m seeing some favorite workwear favorites back again like the NYDJ trouser pant and Eliza J dresses. The pants tend to sell out pretty quickly and I always size up in the Eliza J dresses.
It’s also a great time for work shoes! From flats to pumps this year I’m seeing some cute options at a variety of price points.
Also as workplaces are getting a bit more casual fall is a great time for dresses! I love finding ones that can be worn to work or dressed up for a special occasion.

EVERY DAY CASUAL
Not gonna lie, now living in Colorado I’m more excited about sweaters and boots since we get a “REAL” fall here! For my warm weather girlies grab JEANS!! Every year I go back and see if the items I bought during the NSALE went back on sale in October/ Nov or if they were offered for less money later. While some of the tees, sweaters and blouses have been a better deal later the jeans are always the best price now!

ACTIVEWEAR
This is a great time to snag the Nordstrom brand Zella! This activwear is high quality but at a much better price than Lulu or Athleta and then even more discounted during this sale. Although I also noticed from Varley (higher end) included and excited to try and snag some deals on that!
This is also the area that I tend to go a little sneaker crazy! For my daily mom life this what I wear the most so I feel like it’s a great time to take a look at the ones that are beat down and replace. I also snag as many Bombas sock sets as I can since they almost NEVER have a sale!

When I asked the TRM Tribe about their Anniversary sale shopping habits you answered after fashion for yourself BEAUTY was the 2nd biggest category you purchased and yβall Iβm right there with you! This time of year Nordstrom comes out with some amazing gift sets and specials that you donβt see the rest of the year. I’ve also done a little comparison shopping and most of these items you will see something similar on sale during Prime Days but these are the better prices!

The Nordstrom sale has always been a great time to get him stocked up on some shoes and dress basics as well. He loves the in-house Nordstrom brand Smart Care Dress shirt and these v-neck undershirts are so soft itβs the only style he will wear so I pick up at least 2 packs!

I know itβs halfway through the summer and most kids are not quite ready to think Back to School but honestly I pick up a TON of fall staples for my kids during this sale. Shoes, Jackets and jeans/ pants are always on my shopping list. If you have an infant (or buying for one) this is also a great time to check out deals on popular strollers and high chairs but those do tend to sell out in early access.
